The learning adaptability of students has an immediate effect on their learning efficiency and quality. The first year in middle schools is a very important stage for students in their growing and maturing. It is also a period of transition in their study and life. In real life, when faced with many new features in their learning activity and a series of changes in their learning environment, the new middle school students cannot adapt themselves to them for their lack of essential cognitive and psychological preparation. The study of the new middle school students' learning adaptability will help us in understanding and analyzing their learning behavior and condition completely and scientifically and taking the corresponding educational and teaching measures.Through investigating the first year middle school students' learning quality, learning methods and their adaptation to the teachers' teaching methods and learning environment, this author finds that they generally have poor learning adaptability. This thesis analyzes the causes of their unsuccessful learning adaptability and puts forward the teaching management strategies, such as combining schools, teachers and families and so on to form resultant forces of education. It clearly helps that we take a series of measures in our teaching and education to guide the first year middle school students to adapt to the new situation.
