Research Of Resource Utilization Of Gymnasiums And Stadiums In Fuzhou City Of University

By adopting methods of documentary, investigation, mathematical statistics, logical analysis, this paper targeted the 6 colleges in Fuzhou City of University, investigated into the current utilization of gymnasiums and stadiums.As the survey shows: most of the stadiums are opened free, but the utilization rates of stadiums are much various; all of the indoor gymnasiums are under control, with a limited and unscientific open period, which unable to satisfy students' needs, while several colleges are not equipped with a gymnasium; for the paid-entry gymnasiums, the scope small, opening rate low, service poor, and patterns single.By investigation, two kinds of modes can be found in the City of University, one is administrative management mode, and the other is mixed management mode. As the City of University is far from the urban area, and project configuration of these universities vary significantly; the suggestions of professionals made during the construction of stadiums were not well adopted; most of the managers are green-hands, who lack of professional knowledge and skills; also the gymnasiums and stadiums were not equipped with specialized staffs to be involved in promotion and propaganda; the inefficiency of a systematic and scientific management strategy, plus the poor enforcement of rules and policies, all put the supervision of stadiums into a state of relative disorder.Considering the current utilization condition, this paper suggested adopting a mode of professional management to have charge of gymnasiums and stadiums in colleges and universities.
