As the new century and the new era come, China's polity, economy and cultural situation, as well as philosophy, ideology and moral values of members of society have been fundamentally changed along with the adjustment of political and economical structure, especially with the transition from socialistic planned economy to socialistic market economy. Impacted by such background of this major environment, some new situations and new features of minors'crime have newly appeared which presents some new requirements towards minors'education and growth.Beginning with the major social background of China's social transition and based on the crime research of foreign minors, this thesis deeply explores the status of Chinese minors, criminal features and causes in the new situation. It also analyzes in depth the subjective factors formed by the minors'requisite structural condition and its departure in the process of minors'socialization, especially from the perspective of sociology. Meanwhile, the thesis necessarily discusses the explicit factors affecting minors'crime such as family factors, scholastic factors, and social factors and so on.On the basis of the discussions and theories above, the thesis discusses the macro and micro aspects of preventing and controlling minors'criminal behaviors. It brings forward a series of targeted operational countermeasures and recommendations including purifying the social environment from the macro level, building a socialistic harmony, strengthening the education in schools and families, strengthening legislation, improving the systematic construction of protection of minors and setting up specialized institutions for the protection of minors.
