Emotional intelligence plays a vital role in the growth of children. For the long term in our country, parents focus more on the mental investment and development of their children, but neglect the development of Emotional intelligence. Junior high school is such a period that the emotional development of the students is very unstable, the students are experiencing exquisite physiological and psychological changes of their adolescency. During this period, it is extremely important for parents to cultivate the Emotional intelligence of their children. So, this article probes into the best methods of Emotional intelligence and enriches relevant researches in our country. It also informs parents how to master the scientific methods of education to cultivate their children's Emotional intelligence in the family. In doing so, we can enhance the quality of family education and help promote the harmonious development of the children.This study applies experiments to study the educational intervention of 80 parents of students in junior 2 in No.79 middle school of Chongqing. The findings are as follows:(1). Through educational intervention, junior students' parents can promote the level of Emotional intelligence of their children(2) On the whole, significant improvement of children's Emotional intelligence can be achieved in the following aspects: emotion awareness; emotion control; positive emotion regulation and control and emotion application, whereas not so significant in negative emotion regulation and control.
