Teachers'professional development not only becomes the tide of teachers'education in the world, but also the need and direction of Chinese teachers'educational reform. The ideal professional development is that teachers inform their own professional ideal during the teaching process, develop and improve their professional skills, seek to become professional themselves and own certain educational wisdom.On the basis of researches which have been done before, this study makes a survey on the present situation of kindergarten teachers' professional development in Gan Nan through the following methods: searching relevant documents, making questionnaire, having interviews and so on. Then it analyzes the problems and reasons from three aspects: teachers' professional spirit, their ability and the ways to improve teachers' professional development in the management of kindergarten. According to that, this study puts forward relevant suggestions.Through the survey, the main existing problems are the followings: the necessary external supporting circumstances lack; the link-up of teaching wording is not scientific; kindergarten teachers' vocational image is not good enough; the orientation of the conception about the cooperation between families and kindergartens is not accurate; kindergarten teachers' professional ability remains low.Based on the problems above, some suggestions are put forward: enlarging the inclination of policies and giving more support of outlay; strenghening bilingual teaching staff's constructions; remolding kindergarten teachers' vocational image with professional traits; reinforcing the relation between families and kindergartens; enhancing parents' receptivity on preschool education; developing kindergaren-based training, reinforcing teachers' autonomous development.
