A large number of students are afraid of writing compositions and they feel dizzy when facing writing compositions.Many students lose confidence because they can't write good compositions, so they are disguised with them, and they are frighted when talking about compositions.It is the high time that we fried to find a good solution in composition teaching .The purpose for doing some training about personalized writing and reading is to study how to combine them and how to put writing into a bigger field to form a bilateral system from class to out of class and to reach an integrating conception of writing, thus not omly enhancing students' ideology and widening their eyesight but also motivation their interests in learning, improving their writing abilities and showing their personalities.Here are the goals for the following experiment: 1. to connect books and real life to widen their eyesight and to make their experience rich. 2. to enable students to master the ways of communication with students and teachers, and to form a cooperation habit. 3. to develop a habit of observation, thinking, creation and willing to express. 4. to make writing their inner desire for showing their personalities and their active life and expressing their real emotion.There are four steps in this experiment:The first period (the second semester in 2004) : survey and analysis, interests motivation and finding out problems. Iasked strictly my students , from this term, to finish a 500,000-word reading,after which they need to write down "Report of Personalized Reading ", including some small columns,such as content profile, notes and rethinking after reading. The second period (2005-2006): training students to write personalized compositions in class. Writing compositions in class is a good way that can enhance students' expression ability and writing speed, and make them form good writing habits. There are, of course, some shortcomings. The third period (2006-2007): practice concerning the writing in the college entrance esamination. The fourth period (2007-2008): Conclusion.During this period, I made a careful conclusion and study about the four big practice conceptions and the four btg theory modefc of "Personalized Reading and Composition".I have got some teaching methods about personalized reading and writing: 1.Asking students to make some personalized comments. 2. Doing some personalized reading,writing dowm"Report of Personalized Reading". 3.Asking stuednts to inter-correct their compositions.This experiment has promoted composition teaching and made students' writing abilities get highly improved. Many students in my class have won lots of prizes in composition contests. This experiment has also promoted Chinese teaching so that students have made great progress in Chinese learning. Finally, a newly-made relationship between the teacher and students has formed due to the experiment, that is, the teacher and students are equal in personality, help each other, respect each other, understand each other and trust each other, which in return has promoted teaching greatly.
