Sanda also known as casual hands, originally known as hand combat and Baida, because the competition is staged in the form of stack up against with bare hands on the platform, is also known as the "Daleitai." Today, Sanda is defined as an athletic project that two athletes overmaster each other according to certain rules and with the use of kicking, beating and faster methods of winning tripped. Sanda with physical fitness, combative self-defence, self-cultivation, can be deemed to the entertainment of spectators and richen people's cultural life, and it is also good for training practitioners upholding moral and wushu, and inspiring the ethos. Since Sanda was ranked as a formal event by the National Sports Commission in 1989, bran-new development has taken place. In 1999 Sanda new rules put in practice that contestants remove all body guards, in addition to preserving crotch guard and fist sheath, thus increasing the view and the intensity of the game, which lay the foundation for Sanda to be a world-class game. In recent years, Sanda has developed quickly, and its technical system and training methods has been improved. Not only some heavyweight casual plays have been held in the domestic, there have also been many experts fighting and exchanges contest with countries around the world, both of which have gained certain results. "Thailand Fist" as the most vicious shadow Boxing in the world, was known as the "eight-arm Boxing", "eight-legged movement". Chinese Sanda superiors and Thai athletes had numerous contacts. Since the first session of "Kung Fu Tournament" was successfully held in September 2001, the two countries have successfully held 5 Sino-Thai contests, whose results are not very satisfactory. Although Sanda athletes gained more win, by observing the race contrastively, there are many problems with our competitors: Sanda athletes won very reluctantly, and often relied on Sanda rules to limit the advantages of Thailand Fist's "knee" and the "elbow", scored by advantage of point and home-court. There is a certain gap between the Sanda and Thailand Fist athletes in physical and offensive intensity. In the 2001 "Taiwangbei" Thailand field, Sanda players were defeated by 1 to 4. It can be said that Thailand Fist is our main rival, therefore, a comparative study of Sanda and Thailand fist, analyse of existing problems and potential advantages of Sanda, the establishment of scientific method of sports training, and the frame of Sanda development in the right direction, all of which are of great significance on the protection of China's martial arts projects' dominant position in the Olympic arena, thus contribute to the dissemination and promotion for China's outstanding traditional ethnic sports and culture to the world. In this paper, the origin and development of Sanda and Thai Fist are first introduced by using literature data, comparative analysis, video observation, logic analysis and expert interviews, and other methods. Then a comparative study has been done, which is on the development of the status quo and the dissemination and promotion of Sanda and Thai Fist, technical style features of both in Successive tournament, and the two Boxing cultural connotation and competition rules. On this basis, corresponding countermeasures have been put forward according to the current Sanda existing problems. The results show that: Development of Wushu Sanda has made tremendous achievements, but there are several problems as fallow: prevalence of it is not obviously, and it can not fully reflect the traditional Chinese martial arts combative characteristics, and the masses of its are lack of understanding of issues, such as bias awareness of it. Traditional martial arts are superior to Thailand Fist on all aspects, no matter on combative effect, or on the health and relaxation of the mind, as well as load of culture connotation. But on aspects of the development of the status quo, promotion and dissemination, Chinese martial art of Wushu developed on the basis of the traditional martial arts compared with the Thailand Fist is lagging behind the Thailand Fist. One of the greatest shortcomings of current Sanda education is light- moral and weight-force. Many practicers of Wushu Sanda focused only on technical training have overlooked the Wushu moral education. In the contemporary development process of Wushu Sanda, many more people consider it only as a sport, or a wrestle art to study, but ignores its cultural connotations. Sanda compared with the Thailand Fist, not fully reflect the distinctive characteristics of the national traditions and combative style. On the aspects of physical strength and hit- resist, Sanda can not equal to the Thailand Fist. But on the technical side, the technical architecture of Sanda is rich, and Thailand Fist is relatively simple. Moreover fast throw of Sanda technology is superior Thailand Fist.Based on the findings, the corresponding countermeasures to the development of China Sanda are gained as follows: 1 Strengthening Wushu moral education. 2 Reconstructing Sanda cultural characteristics. 3 Establishing a reasonable Sanda training system. 4 Reforming competition rules of Sanda. 5 Accelerate the process of Sanda's entry to the market.
