The Word-problem and Solving-problem of Primary school math is closely connecting with each other. Under the background of the two-year New Curriculum Reform the textbook of primary school math has substituted the Solving-problem for the Word-problem. Therefore, it has real significance to research the adaptability of the primary school math teachers to the reform.In order to research on the primary school math teachers' teaching adaptability of problem-solving on the mathematics teachers of the primary school in Beibei ChongQing, which is one of the earliest Experimental plots for the New Curriculum Reform. Basic mentality of the research: At first, according to the literature research, compares the differences between the teaching aims and requirements of the Mathematics Curriculum Standard and the Syllabus Design on both problem-solving & word-problem, and compares among different textbooks. Then focuses on the primary school math teachers' teaching adaptability of problem-solving by means of questionnaire surveys, observance in real class and interview. (Effective 267 questionnaires, and reclaim 251 questionnaires. Portion of coefficient of recovery reclaims for 94% . Basically have the interview studying initial group characteristic. Randomly takes out more than 10 people for carrying out simple individual interviews with giving out a questionnaire. Extract 3 school, difference represents city school, town school and country school. Take out one primary school math teacher from every ' selected school random. The author carries out the random classroom memoir and makes much further interview with the teacher after class.)Conclusions drawn through the analysis: Although the primary school math teachers go through a round of the Curriculum Reform, there are still some inadequate for teaching Problem-solving. (1) Teachers confuse in the main idea of "Problem". (2)The teachers have not paid enough attention to question-raising. (3) The teachers in rural areas have difficulties in implementing Cooperative & Communicative Studies. Furthermore, they are lack of evaluation methods on such studies. (4) Both rural area teachers and city teachers have paid enough attention to the strategy of solving-problem.With the investigation and my own practical experience, in connection with primary school teachers are inadequate to teach problem-solving, the paper makes five thinking and suggestions in view of the insufficiency of primary math teacher's Solving-problem teaching:(1) Strengthen teachers training program;(2)Improve evaluation system;(3) Promote the discussion and demonstrate the model effect of outstanding teachers so as to improve all other teachers practice;(4) Perfect the text-book;(5) The solving problem should be the final aim of all subjects.
