The Study On Infiltrating Humanism Into Senior Politics Teaching

At present, senior education in China hasn't got rid of the limitation of exam-oriented education, namely teaching is still mainly evaluated by college entrance examination and during teaching providing knowledge is emphasized while cultivating students' good morality is neglected so that some teenage students develop some bad things such as spirit void, unbalanced morality and the absence of humanism and so on. Therefore, it is an important subject for educators to change the above situation. Meanwhile, made by the education department, the new standard of curriculum for senior politics makes it clear that while teaching the subject teachers must fully perform the function of education and play an important part in improving modern citizens' humanism. Because humanism lies everywhere in the new standard, it requires teachers to select and reorganize the contents, change teaching methods, search the teaching materials for culture and constantly enrich the connotation of humanism.The text includes the questionnaire investigating 589 students in 10 classes of Senior I and Seniro II in Yunyang Normal School about their attitudes towards studying politics and interviews with part of senior students in five senior high schools in Yunyang County, Chongqing City, China, aiming to know how the present senior students study politics. It also takes the research results as the main foundation, analyzes and points out that there are most senior students who don't like politics, especially the students majoring science who don't nearly study politics. Besides, it advances some corresponding solutions to the problems existing in politics teaching by referring to the writer's over-ten-year teaching practice.
