Research On Constructing The Harmonious Race Border Relations In The National Colleges And Universities

The national colleges and universities are special communities for having various national students. The national university students mostly come in particular from the national areas. Moreover, they all grow in their unique geographical environment and cultural background, and they are deeply engraved on their body this national cultural brand marks. After entering the national universities, they must adapt the metropolis and the university life as well as the fusion and the collision of the different national culture and the manners and customs under the many kinds of national cultural background. This is easy to cause them to have some conflicts and the contradiction in the aspect of race border relations. As one of the national university student's important activity, the race border relations is directly affecting their study and life, their psychologically healthy, and their growth and the development, simultaneously , the realization of the university's educational goal. Therefore it is essential for us to make some research and analysis on present situation of the various national students'race border relations in national colleges and universities, and to discover the problems existing in their race border contact, and proposed some solutions, which are helpful to enhance their contact ability, and offer the scientific policy-making gist in constructing the harmonious race border relations in the national colleges and universities.In the form of the questionnaire survey and the interview investigation, this article conducted the race border relations research in the students from different majors and different years, they include: Han nationality, Tibetan nationality, Mongolian nationality, Uygur nationality, Hui nationality and so on, and understood the variable factor in constructing the harmonious race border relations in the national colleges and universities. Through the analysis, the basic conclusion which the article obtains is: the variable factor mainly involves two parts--- the internal factor and the external factor. The internal factor mainly is the problems which various national students faced in the race border relations, namely the factors of language, religion, psychology, manners and customs, national consciousness as well as race border contact. While the external factor mainly is the efforts which the university made to guide and help the national students in the race border contact. That is to say, the efforts which the university made, after the national students'enrollment, in the aspect of national unity, national view education, psychological counseling, national knowledge as well as campus cultural construction through the positive and effective propaganda and education.
