Learning difficulties has been a widespread phenomenon among school students, which hinders students' comprehensive development, troubles educational development of each country and thus influences educational efficiency. Many educaitonal researchers and practitioners have made extensive research on learning difficulty students from different perspectives and have obtained many important conclusions. The issue of students with learning difficulties in mathematics, as a sub-issue of disadvantaged students, has attracted a lot of concern.This article employs theory and practice together to study the main characters of mathematics learning difficulties students, which are summarized as lazy loose interest, low self-confidence, excessively anxious, , weak willingness, emotion barrier, few successful experience, the improper achievement attribution. It discusses the reason of MLMP from four aspects-- students themselves,family education,school education and milieu. Based on the analysis, we proposed strategies for improvementThe thesis is consisted of the following six parts.The first part addresses the problems currently existing in junior high school learning difficulties in mathematics and reviews the study and development of domestic and foreign research on junior secondary students with learning difficulties in mathematics.The second part uses questionnaires and carry on the inquisition to the sample, and analyzes the result of the investigation. illustrates the main characters of the mathematics learning difficulties students.The third part analyzes the reason of MLMP from four aspects-- students themselves,family education,school education and milieu.The four part put forward corresponding strategies for improvement. The fifth part gives two examples of my teaching and learning conversion strategies.
