The Actuality And Relevent Strategies On PE Teaching In High School In Baicheng Area

The Decision on the further education reform for all-around development in comprehensive advanced education points out that our country is at the crucial period in the realization of the modern socialism strategic target. Facing both the domestic and international new situations, our education presents a generally relative backwardness, which cannot meet the need of the improvement of the nation's qualities. Therefore, we must deepen the education reform and advance the education for all-around development comprehensively so as to build a socialist education system which is full of vitality with the Chinese characteristic and to establish the solid talents and knowledge based foundation for the implementation on science and education to rejuvenate the nation.The modern education thought should serve as the instruction for the education in the 21st century. Both the new changes in international environment and the domestic social reform and the development all set the new request to the qualities of the talents. PE is the organic constituents in the high schools as well as the base of the sports education and social sports education. In order to be in agreement with the trend of the modern education and foster the talents for the 21 century, PE education needs to keep pace with the times. We did an investigation into the actuality of the PE teaching in high schools in Baicheng area and had the following discoveries:1st, leaders in various high schools have not been greatly concerned about PE teaching, who have neglected the importance of sports teaching in high school.2nd, the teaching method is backward in high schools in Baicheng area and the teaching equipments are also obsolete, which hinders the students'interest in PE.3rd, academic structure of the teaching troop of the high schools in Baicheng area is somewhat low, and the age structure of the teaching troop is also unreasonable, as a result, their ability in scientific research is not high.4th, the physical education is the organic constituent of the education in high school and the curriculum development is not ideal, the phenomenon hasn't been solved completely that the physical education only needs two balls where both students and teachers are all free. In addition, the phenomenon that the physical education is taken place by other courses can be found everywhere.5th, facilities and equipments in high schools in Baicheng area are insufficient with few standard ones. Schools lack the funds to obtain the supplement promptly, which has affected the sports teaching seriously.
