Content: Accompanied by the arrival of the first year of“twelfth five-year”plan,Baicheng City, as one of the northeast old industrial bases, its economy is underprogressive transformation, people`s living standards keep rising while the publicincreasingly concerned about their health problems, the awareness of spending moneyon health have become much stronger. In recent years, lots of profitable gymnasiumssprung up in Baicheng City, among which table tennis venues are the main force.However, as the development of profitable table tennis venues in Baicheng City are stillat the very beginning, there are all aspects of problems lie there wait us to solve.The operators and consumers of the profitable table tennis venues will be the objectsof study in this paper, literature, questionnaire survey, statistics, visiting survey andother research methods are also applied in this paper. This paper is based on the researchof six table tennis venues of Taobei Aera, aimed at understanding the current operatingstatus and problems of profitable table tennis venues in Baicheng City and figure out thesolutions to the existed problems, promoting and proving some reference views of thepromotion and development of table tennis in Baicheng City, riching people`s culturallife, thereby achieving the purpose of entertainment and fitness. Hardware and softwarefacilities are two main events including the arena size, site conditions, managementstatus, charges, coaches and sparring member technical level, the pervasiveness of themass, penetration and the basic conditions of the participant.The research shows that:The business mode of profitable table tennis venues in Baicheng is still in its infancy,relatively backward in the management, the price is high while the site conditions arenot so good, the overall quality of coaches and sparring members are lower than averagedegree. Suggestions for improvement through the analysis for Baicheng City`s tabletennis consumer market development and the implementation of the National FitnessProgram provide a reference.Small and medium-sized table tennis venues are the main force of the profitable tabletennis venues in Baicheng City, there`s little large operation scale in Baicheng. Thestatistics from the author`s research shows that although the amount of the table tennisvenues can basically meet the needs of public demands, but there are many things to bedesired in quality, such as site conditions, lighting conditions, supporting facilities,technical of the coaches and sparring members are urgent need to further improve.Both quality and quantity of management personnel in Baicheng City·s profitabletable tennis venues are in short. The management staff can hardly known both sportsand management of business. The operators of the profitable table tennis venues havefallen behind in business philosophy, management model,quality of service and otheraspects. And they usually don`t pay much attention to site area of the arena and capitalinvestment. As the result, the profitable table tennis venues can hardly meet theincreasingly high demand of the consumers on service.
