In the context that China is accelerating to establish world-class universities and innovative country, by analyzing the Party Central Committee and the State Council's strategy decision of enhancing and improving ideological and political education to students in universities, the paper indicates the importance of establishing relationship between teachers and students in the process of research-oriented universities' moral education on improving moral education and promoting the research-oriented university to a world-class one.The author demonstrates that for constructing relationship between teachers and students in the process of moral education in research-oriented universities, we must learn the idea of world-class universities and cultivate humanistic spirit. Through developing moral education with Chinese characteristics, taking advantage of good tradition and special predominance of moral education in universities, facing difficulties and problems, according to importance of universities' moral education in cultivating innovative talents, we should develop pointed quality education, carry out humanistic care.Through the analysis of value relation between subject and object for teachers and students by thesis of Marxist subject and object unification theory and labor theory of value, from the angle of value relation between subject and object for teachers and students, the paper provide a way to realize value and idea of life. Through analysis of connotation, characteristics and value of humanistic care of the relationship between teachers and students in research-oriented universities' moral education, the author points out that the essence of moral education is philosophy emphasized on human, and offers object, principles, contents, models and countermeasure in establishing relationship between teachers and students in the process of moral education. The paper gives some empirical research on operating ideas of PLA Harbin Military Engineering College, PLA Harbin Military Engineering College Spirit and relationship between teachers and students during that time. Combining the practice of upgrade Harbin Engineering University to a distinguished high-level research-oriented university, the author puts forward a feasible strategy for establishing relationship between teachers and students in Harbin Engineering University's moral education.
