The nationality that the Chinese national spirit education refers to have its own specialty: it is a combined characteristic of multi-nationalities. The logical extension of "nationality" in the area of high school national spirit education should conclude and enlarge to all of the Chinese nationalities. The content of it should be the outstanding and affirmative part of national spirit that coming from the common economic, cultural, traditional, and political origin of the Chinese multi-nationalities. The purpose of it should be fostering the creativity of student that is full of Zeitgeist and expansibility and give attention to both of the sociality and the individuality.The political study in China has its own specialty: it includes economy, politics and philosophy teaching. The Political study in high school is a basic subject to give students the education of civic moral character and the general knowledge of Marxism, and it is the main way to process high school moral education. The teaching purpose of the political study is corresponding to the purpose of the national spirit education. In the new study purpose from the second curriculum reform of Shanghai, to manage to the teaching purpose of feeling, attitude and valuation, it is need to enhance the national spirit education. The high school political study takes the special responsibility and fundamentality.Enhance the pervasion of national spirit education in high school political teaching, recognizing the special responsibility and function of political teaching in high school in the area of the national spirit education among the entire subject in high school education. According to the background of the era of reform and opening-up and the requirement of the construction of national modernization of today' s China, researching the basis of high antiquity, antiquity, modern, contemporary Chinese national spirit, and emphasize on key point of the content of contemporary high school Chinese national spirit education, and putting it adequate to the nowadays China which is more regard to and enrich the character of personality, creativity and individuality development. On the basis of the positive, go-ahead and lively common national spirit which based on the common social sense of worth, we should also carry forward the unique character and spirit of particular citizen, by which developed the national creative characteristic, and formed the colorful, multivariate and multi-element unity of Chinese national spirit all the time.The national spirit education is one of the important educations of national education contents in all of the modern world countries. Carrying forward and cultivating the national spirit should be one the basic education purpose of high school.High school political teaching should compose and fresh all kinds of the appropriate teaching methods, and bring all the possible society recourses to bear. Enhance the efficiency and the time effect of high school political teaching.The national spirit is root and developed in the land of reality. The enhancing of the national spirit education can not only be depended on the content of the textbook and the class, otherwise the national spirit education will be vain, remote and apart from the real action. The national spirit education should wholly collect all kinds of material that has connection to it, explore and deepen those of the current affairs. Leading the students to collect and conclude information, learning to think, judge, evaluate and synthesize. During the practicing of the national spirit teaching and learning, the teaching resource should be enlarged and extended beyond the campus and get into the society, the scene of the practicing of the students should be exploited. In the political study, it should be enhanced from the macroscopical aspect of politics, economy, philosophy and sociology; it also should be strengthened from the microcosmic aspect of the actual life; be deepen from the academic aspect and be explored from the practical aspect.
