Achievement motivation indicates an internal drive which makes the individual do the job which is considered important and worth, and try to achieve the higher standard. Achievement motivation is the socialized result of an individual. It is influenced by many postnatal factors. It is important for us to study the achievement motivation and postnatal factors which influence the achievement motivation. With the help of them, the teachers can know student better and give the students a good training ,improving their study activity.The research used three questionnaires, i.e. The Cattell 14 Personalities questionnaire,the Achievement Motivation Scale (AMS) and Nowicki-strickland Children Internal-external control scale, to examine 608 junior high school students of Han,Zhuang and MaoNan nationality. The results of the research are as follows:Firstly,The different of The pursuing success achievement motivation of Han,Zhuang and MaoNan nationality junior high school students is significant, The different of The avoiding failure motivation of Han,Zhuang and MaoNan nationality junior high school students is significant.Secendly, The pursuing success achievement motivation of junior high school students have significant negative correlation with the score of describing style. The avoiding failure motivation of junior high school students have significant positive correlation with the score of describing style.Thirdly, The avoiding failure motivation of Han,Zhuang and MaoNan nationality junior high school students is not significantly influenced by the family structure.Fourthly, The pursuing success achievement motivation of boy junior high school students is stronger than that of girls, The avoiding failure motivation of girl junior high school students is stronger than that of boy.Fifthly, The achievement motivation of junior high school students is not significantly influenced by the profession and educational level of their father, but greatly influenced by their mother.Sixthly, The achievement motivation of junior high school students is not significantly among grade, The avoiding motivation of the second-year students is stronger than that of other students. There is no difference between the avoiding motivation of the first-year students and that of the third-year students.Seventhly, The achievement motivation of junior high school students have significant correlation with some factors of personality.
