In the teaching of PE,the improvement of students' achievement motivation can help students achieve success continuously.Accordingly,the students' initiative to participate in the class teaching of PE will be improved so that the students' physical qualities can be exercised;the improvement of students' self-confidence can help students own a good mental outlook.Accordingly,the students will face their lives more positively and optimistically so that the students' psychological quality can be developed.Through teaching practices,the author found that the level of pursuing success and self-confidence for female students in junior middle schools was obviously lower than that of male students,which seriously affected their enthusiasm of having PE classes.It is not beneficial for female students' healthy development of physique in junior middle schools as well as the formation of their lifelong sports consciousness.Therefore,researching the influence of successful PE teaching model on the achievement motivation and self-confidence for female students in junior middle schools,can not only provide the corresponding theoretical basis and beneficial practical experience for the effective PE teaching of female students in junior middle schools,but also promote physical and mental health development for female students in junior middle schools more effectively.Based on the gender theory,the achievement motivation theory,and the self-efficacy theory,this thesis applies the methods of literature analysis,questionnaire survey,experiment,case analysis,and mathematical statistics,and takes female students in Nanjing's one middle school as the object of investigation and experiment.On the basis of expounding the development of PE teaching model of junior middle schools in China and deeply researching the current situation of Nanjing's PE teaching of female students in junior middle schools,it conducts the experiment of PE teaching to apply the traditional PE teaching model and the successful PE teaching mode for the experimental class and the control class respectively.Moreover,it measures the achievement motivation and self-confidence of female students in two classes before and after the experiment.The obtained data is statistically analyzed.Through the research and analysis,this thesis draws the conclusions and recommendations as follows:1.The test data of the control class were not significantly different before and after the experiment.2.The test data of the experimental class were improved after the experiment,and there were significant changes before and after the experiment.It shows that successful physical education teaching model has a significant impact on achievement motivation and self-confidence of female students in junior middle schools.And the successful teaching mode of PE is beneficial for the improvement of achievement motivation and self-confidence for female students in junior middle schools.3.Different teaching modes of PE have different influences on the achievement motivation and self-confidence for female students in junior middle schools.4.In the PE teaching of female students in junior middle schools,teachers should do as follows:improving teaching methods so as to promote the success of female students in junior middle schools;selecting the teaching contents carefully so as to improve the self-confidence of female students in junior middle schools;understanding the characteristics of female students' physical and mental development so as to improve the achievement motivation of female students;improving teachers' professional quality so as to promote the overall development of female students.
