The development of modern society, especially the emergence of knowledge-based economy, requires the education, especially the elementary education, to focus on the students creativity fostering. However, when we retrospect the elementary education of our country, we can get that middle and primary school students have a relatively lower creativity. There is a great contradiction between the requirement and the reality. Therefore,it is more and more essential and urgent to develop creativity.In light of psychology,pedagogy and the relevent theories relating to the Chinese language and its teaching methodology as well as the experimences based on the teaching of Chinese, this paper tries to explore the approaches to foster students' writing skill.Drawing upon the precious research works in the field,this paper probes into the connotation,mechanism similarity of creative thinking. The paper also brings to light the relationship between creativity thinking and Chinese writing teaching in middle schools. The paper sets forth the principles and some specific approaches to enhance students' creative thinking in the writing classes of middle school, 1.the cumulation of information—good foundation for the development of creative thinking; 2.the setting of writing environment—providing motive force for the development of creative thinking; 3.cultivation on ideation—helping the students' experience the happiness that brought by creative thinking; 4.how to make use of the materials—grasping the essence of the development of creative thinking; 5.taking some activities—an important way of cultivating the students' creative thinking. Further more, the paper gave the method of creative training and some cases of the trainings. These trainings would make students be used to apply the creative thinking in writing, which would improve their writings' quality remarkably.In conclusion, it is very important to develop the students' creative ability. Chinese teachers should take scientific instructions, according to the development of students' thinking. Thus the student could write out their unique recept and true experience about the life and society by their true feelings, and would be keen on the surroundings.
