The Experiment Of Qiang-shen-gu-ben Capsule On Reproductive Endocrine And Sport Ability In Male Rats

Objective The purpose of this study was to explore the function of qiang-shen-gu-ben capsule adjusting the hypothalamus-pophysis-gonad axis and strening the sport ability through investigating the influence of the invigorate kidney traditional medicine on the kidney yang weaking mice's, such as sex function, the weight of the attaching organ(prostate and seminal vesicle) , sex hormone level and sport ability, and it will provide the experimental evidence for qiang-shen-gu-ben capsule in the sport medical area and the clinical practice.Methods The models of castrated mice were divided into two groups random: castrated medicine group and castrated model group. Firstly castrated medicine group (CMG) was supplied with the Chinese traditional medicines for 28 days, castrated model group and normal group were supplied with NS during the time, and then the influence of qiang-shen-gu-ben capsule on the changes of mice had been recorded. The changes were involved with sex function, the weight of the attaching organ(prostate and seminal vesicle) , and the content of luteinizing hormone, testosterone, follicle stimulating hormone. Meantime in the 4 weeks the mice were weighted, they were tested the climbing rope's time and the open field test each week, after suppling with Chinese traditional medicines and NS for 28 days, the time of swimming to exhaustion of rats were tested in order to observe qiang-shen-gu-ben capsule influence to the castrated mice's sport ability.Results (1) Compared to the model of castrated mice group, CMG's mice weight lifted less; (2) Compared to the model of castrated mice group, CMG's mice T elevated remarkably, LH decreases obviously and sperm bladders-prostat's weight increase evidently. (3) Compared to the model of castrated mice group, CMG's mice capture latent period shortened evidently, capture times, mounting times, capture rate and mounting rate increased remarkably. (4) Compared to the model of castrated mice group, CMG's mice the time of climbing rope and the time of swimming to exhaustion extended evidently, CMG's crossing number lengthened remarkably.Conclusion Qiang-shen-gu-ben capsule can regulate hypothalamus-pituitary-sex gland axis's function and it can invigorate the kidney and strengthen yang and strengthen force.
