In September, 2004, four provincial regions, including Guangdong, Hainan, Shandong, and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, started their first round experimental teaching with the guidance of the new "Standards" for liberal high school, which nominate "inequation" as the fourth subject in the optional teaching series.Under the "ordinary high school mathematics curriculum standards" and "full-time mathematics curricula (high)", the inequality part of the contents and requirements are different. "Standard", in addition to containing the "outline" of the content, also added: Sorting Cauchy inequality and inequality proof and applications, and the reduction to absurdity zoom, simple linear programming and mathematical induction (both part of the "outline" in some but not inequality). In addition, "standard" and "Commitments" are part of the inequality in the knowledge and skills to the results of the request, "outline" four levels according to the "understanding" and "understanding" of "master", "to use" objective statement, "standard" is based on three levels "know" "understanding" of "master" stated goal. "Standard" Apart from the above results of these goals, an increase of process and methods and feelings, attitudes and values goal.Based on the "standard" concept and teaching contents and requirements of this study believe that teaching the following strategy: "grasp the teaching requirements, seize the teaching focus" and "Inequality geometric significance to the teaching, and guide students in understanding inequality nature" to effectively infiltrate the new curriculum standards philosophy, and improve students' proficiency in mathematics.
