Algorithm is the base of in modern scientific computing, and playing more and more important role in the modern social development. The algorithm thinking has become a kind of mathematical literacy that is indispensable for people of modern times, and so augmented the algorithm preliminary in high school in new mathematics curriculum, which just to keep up with the development of the modern information society.With the full implementation of the new curriculum, the teachers play more and more attention to the algorithm teaching. Because of the new content component, it is unfamiliar for most of the mathematical teachers in the senior middle school, and lack of present experiences in the field teaching, therefore, a math teacher for each faces challenges in the senior middle school. The entire math teachers in the high school remarkably consider that how to implement effective teaching of the algorithm preliminary in the classroom teaching. This paper bases on the practice of the mathematics classroom teaching, according to the feature and demand of study of the algorithm, analyzing algorithm teaching in line accordance with effective teaching theory, and on the basis of the teaching design and the student's characteristic of mathematics cognition structure, researching on the effective teaching strategy of the algorithm preliminary teaching.First of all, the paper studied algorithm teaching both at home and abroad. The algorithm teaching had been carried out relatively early and also attached much importance to it. During the algorithm teaching, they take into account osmosis, selectivity and temporal spirit about algorithm content, and advocating diversification algorithm, and emphasizing to develop algorithm thinking in problem solving. With the curricular implement and deep-going in our country, developed the investigation of current algorithm teaching, and the course teaching design of algorithm, and the experimental study of the algorithm teaching, and the research of algorithm in the college entrance examination proposition.In the process, the algorithm preliminary content of the curriculum standards had been analyzed, and three times questionnaires were collected from algorithm teaching of teachers and algorithm learning of students and on that basis designed algorithm teaching experiment, and arranged classroom teaching activity, and last fulfilled teaching activity. According to algorithm teaching experiment, drawn conclusions: under the theory of effective teaching strategy teaching activity process can be optimal designed, and promote to develop algorithm teaching and learning, don't use easy to replace sample in the teaching material with new examples, select properly examples that are derived from student's living practices and lay stress on certain interest and difficulty or facility should be appropriate for students.This paper puts forward some teaching strategies: algorithm thinking cultivation is a step-by-step process and applies through the whole mathematics teaching process, and the emphases of algorithm preliminary teaching contain should be grasped, and selecting samples should embody foundation, interest and development, algorithm teaching integrate properly with computer education.
