Teachers' Professional Development is the main aim of teacher education. Teachers' Professional Development is the process of the teachers master the necessary knowledge and skills of their profession practice at every stage in their teaching-occupation. Teachers' Professional Development can't deviate from the teaching, and the teaching can't deviate from school. Schools and classrooms is the main position for teachers' specialization development. School-based Educational Research is a research activity in which the stand of new curriculum instruction research is setting in school. It is a research activity whose object is to solve the concrete problems appearing in the new curriculum reform and whose is to improve the students' healthy, initiative and sufficiency shaping and teachers' professional development. School-Based Educational Research is one of the most effective approaches to resolve the realistic problems in classroom teaching and to Teachers' Professional Development.In this study, I select the English teaching research group in the primary school attached to Xiamen foreign language middle school as a case. Based on the theory study of school-based Educational Research and teachers' professional development, the study begins from the implement of School-based Educational Research , probing into school-based Educational Research and teachers' professional development through the investigation there, by using of multiple methods, such as observe method, deep interview method, literature analysis method, etc. And study how to efficiently launch the School-based Educational Research to better accelerate the teachers' professional development. Moreover, operational ideas and suggestions are put forwarded on how to develop individual teaching research effectively based on characteristics of primary school teachers. The main conclusions of the study as follows:1. School-based Educational Research is an efficient approach to improve the teachers' professional development.2. School-based Educational Research activities should be fit the school reality.3. Perfect the organization constructs of English educational research group in order to launch the School-based Educational Research better.4. Training the teachers' reconsidering ability should be emphasized in School-based Educational Research .5. We should advocate the teachers to communicate each other in School-based Educational Research.
