The Political And Ideological Education In College Students' Career Planning

Career is not only a basic element that ensures the development of the whole society, but also the center of the development of an individual's whole course of life. Career planning for college students means a teaching process on the basis of a comprehensive and objective knowledge of both subjective and objective factors and the environment, to educate the students in ideology, politics, work ethics, career consciousness, ability, and mentality in an organized and planned way, with the purpose to improve a harmonious development between the college students and the whole society.Career planning for college students is not merely a technological design, its soul should be politics and ideology education. If such politics and ideology education is introduced into career planning, the career planning for college students would be more comprehensive, intensive, and effective, not a former pure and simple means. Meanwhile, politics and ideology education should be closely integrated with career planning, to properly implement the human-oriented idea, and to combine the sustainable development of the students with that of the society. In this way, the politics and ideology education would be more specific, effective, as well as attractive.My essay does a systematic research on the political and ideological education in college student's career planning. I make a further research on the theory of college student's career planning chiefly with such approaches as references, questionnaires, induction and deduction as well as theoretic analysis, and I also make an analysis of the necessity and feasibility of the political and ideological education. In my essay, some practical measures are put forward after an all-round analysis of the problems and their causes existing in career planning.There are three practical measures to solve the problem of college student's career planning: first, to educate the students in ideology and politics according to three divided stages——freshmen, major leaning, and graduation, and to separately do an exploration in the teaching contents and approaches of ideology and politics education of all these three stages. Secondly, to expand the system of career planning, solving the ideological problem in career planning, and striving to build up a more scientific, reasonable, and effective politics and ideology education system, including a management system, a teaching system and a service system. Thirdly, to mobilize all the college stuff to participate in the political and ideological education. This part is adifficult point of my essay, as well as a major and new point.
