Study On College Students’Ideological And Political Education Based On Career Plan

The college students’ideological and political education work is important notonly to the cultivation of the builders and successors of socialism with Chinesecharacteristics, but also to the execution of the strategy of revitalizing China throughscience and education and reinvigorating China through talent. With the furtherdevelopment of economic globalization, the popularity of Internet and theestablishment of socialistic marketing economical system, the college students’ideological and political education work is facing severe challenges. Theindoctrination method, as a traditional way of teaching at class is no longer suit forcurrent situation. Thus, it is quite urgent to find a new and effective way of teaching soas to strengthen and improve the college students’ideological and political educationworkIn the paper, based on the reference of other people’s research result and theworking practice of the author, the author proposes a new teaching method ofideological and political education, which is facilitating the teaching with students’career planning. In the first part of the paper, based on the relevant theories, theelements of ideological and political education containing in students’career planningare analyzed. In the second part, the necessity and possibility of facilitating theideological and political education with students’career planning are discussed. In thethird part, the author proposes the effective strategy to facilitate the college students’ideological and political education with the career planning.The followings are some thoughts on students’career planning, as a newteaching method of ideological and political education: (1) Students’career planningcontains students’view of the world, outlook on life, values, political outlook, view oflegal system and professional ethics. These elements are also the basic components ofthe ideological and political education. (2)The proposal of this new teaching method iswith the consideration of current status of ideological and political education in ourcountry, so it has its theoretical and practical bases. Students’career planning and the college students’ideological and political education have the same goal andintersections, so the new method can be applied effectively in practice. (3) It can berealized by the fusion of the education contents, the coordination of the teachingresources, the integration of the education forms, and the improvement of themanagement system.
