A Study On The Development Of The Private Higher Education In Australia

On the background of globalization, private higher education has a place, even at a very important position, in many countries'higher education systems. As a economically developed and high social welfare country——Australia, since the late 1980s, the situation public higher education dominating the world was broken, in Australian laws and regulations system, private higher education institutions were approved by the Government and got a certain degree of government subsidy. What were the reasons which Australia carried out this series of market-oriented reform, and what about the reform measures and results?
