Objective: To study the job satisfaction of teachers'in medical universities in Hefei and put forword motive model and some managerial suggestion.Methods: By random method, 320 teachers in medical universities were assessed with job satisfaction survey.Results:â‘ As a whole, job satisfaction of teachers in medical universities in hefei is in middle level.â‘¡The female teachers have a higher mark than the male teachers,unmarried teachers have a higher mark than married teachers, and the scores of job satisfaction were of significance(P<0.05).â‘¢The job satisfaction of teachers of different age or different professional titles have no obvious difference(P>0.05), but the teachers of different professional titles have significant difference(P<0.05) in eight dimensions except for satisfaction with work factor. There are a significant difference(P<0.05) in five dimensions of colleagues, salaries, authorities,interests and procedures in teachers of different age.â‘£The teachers in different educational background have significant difference(P<0.01).Conclusion:â‘ As a whole, job satisfaction of teachers in medical universities in hefei is in middle level.â‘¡The gender, the marital status, educational background, prefessional titles and age are all the factors of the teachers'job satisfaction in medical universities.â‘¢The managers of medical universities should have the ideal of humanism and take some effective measures in the light of teachers'features.
