Teachers' job satisfaction is a kind of feeling and emotional experience produced by teachers to their work and its related aspects.It plays an important guiding role in work behavior.Teachers with higher job satisfaction will maintain a positive attitude in their work,devote themselves to teaching and scientific research,and strive to show their best self.There is seldom job burnout or turnover tendency,which is beneficial to them.The development of higher education and the stabilization of University teachers.Therefore,understanding the current situation of teachers' job satisfaction in Qingdao ordinary undergraduate colleges and universities,finding out the factors affecting teachers' job satisfaction,and adopting various measures to improve teachers' job satisfaction have an important role in the stable development of Qingdao ordinary undergraduate colleges and universities.This paper takes Qingdao ordinary undergraduate university teachers as the research object,collects the basic personal information and job satisfaction data of teachers through the self-compiled Questionnaire of Job Satisfaction of University Teachers,and uses SPSS19.0 to carry out descriptive statistics and difference test on the collected information,so as to understand teachers' working environment,job itself,job return,interpersonal relationship,growth and development.This paper explores whether there are significant differences in the five dimensions of job satisfaction and demographic variables of teachers,so as to provide a reference for policy-making in Colleges and universities.Through the analysis of the data,the following conclusions can be drawn:(1)Teachers' job satisfaction in Qingdao ordinary undergraduate colleges and universities is at a medium level,teachers' satisfaction with the dimensions of interpersonal relationship and working environment is higher,and their satisfaction with the dimensions of growth and development,work itself and job return is reduced in turn;(2)Teachers' age,marriage,educational background,professional title and job category have significant differences in overall job satisfaction and various dimensions.There are no significant differences in job satisfaction and influence dimensions between teachers' gender.According to the relevant theories and empirical research results,Qingdao ordinary undergraduate colleges and universities can improve teachers' job satisfaction through the following strategies: establishing a fair and reasonable job return system,improving the level of salary incentives;optimizing working conditions and environment to meet the needs of teachers' teaching and scientific research;Create a good atmosphere for teaching and educating people,increase opportunities for communication and cooperation betweenteachers and students;increase support for young teachers,cultivate young backbone forces;guide the public to give more support and care to college teachers,establish reasonable requirements and expectations;establish a scientific and rational training and promotion system,so as to promote the growth and development of teachers.
