A Study On Effectiveness And Strategies Of The "Three Modes" Of Implementation Of The Modern Long Distance Education In The Southeastern Region Of Chongqing

In this thesis, the author explores the the status quo of the distance education project in Qianjiang District, sums up the experience and analyzes the problems ,furthermore proposes related strategies dealing with them from the perspective of the implementation of distance education project in Qianjiang District through a comprehensive use of interviews, observations, inspection documents, induction and deduction, and other research methods. It aims at the improvement of the distance education project in this area. The thesis contains four parts.In the first part, it gives a systematic exposition of the background of the research, the origins of topics, the purposes of research as well as the research methods.In the second part, it outlines the relevant theoretical studies and application modes of the modern long distance education project.In the third part, the thesis mainly discusses "One Computer, Three Applications"—the Qianjiang Mode of the implementation of modern distance education project through comprehensive survey and analysis. It explores the the status quo of the distance education project in Qianjiang District, focusing on the discussion and depth research of the theory, application and effect of the Mode of "One Computer, Three Applications". The author proposes some further suggestions in attempt to enrich the connotations and scopes of the Mode as well.The fourth part discusses the problems and their solutions in the process of the implementation of the long distance education project in the region. It probes into some related aspects such as thansference of concepts, funding, teachers' training, and the introduction of incentive mechanisms concerning the promotion of the sustainable development of the modern distance education project in the region.Based on a case study of Qianjiang District, this thesis focuses on the "Three Modes" of implementation of modern distance education in the Southeastern Region of Chongqing, therefore it is a study with regional characteristics.
