Under the background of the new curriculum reform, contemporary language teaching is transforming profoundly. Reading teaching broke the pattern of "instruction-training". "The Course Standard of Chinese" advocates reading teaching is "dialogue between student, teacher and text." In language educational circles, the research of "dialogue" is starting and becoming a hot topic. This paper unscrambles the teaching of reading from the angle of dialogue theory. Under the scope of dialogue theory, the paper discusses the significance about the development and utilization of curriculum resources in reading teaching, through the inspection of reading teaching's present situation, finds the problem of reading teaching. Finally, elaborates how to improve reading teaching by using curriculum resources.The paper is divided into three parts altogether.Part one, takes the dialogue theory as foundation, analysis the essence of reading teaching, then expounds the significance about the development and utilization of curriculum resources in reading teaching. Dialogue is not only a kind of instructional means, but also a spirit pursued in instruction. Because of influence of dialogue theory, reading teaching becomes the process of multiple dialogues. And the development and utilization of curriculum resources is very important to reading teaching. Because curriculum resources is the basic of dialogue in reading teaching; the development and utilization of curriculum resources could forms the dialogue field in reading teaching; the development and utilization of curriculum resources could improve teacher's dialogue consciousness and ability; the development and utilization of curriculum resources could improve dialogue between student and environment.Part two, based on the practice of reading teaching, inspects problems in real teaching. For example, teacher misunderstands dialogue, teaching skill is unsatisfactory, false dialogues are existed in reading teaching and so on. During the teaching, we can see that dialogue is just the form, giving and receiving is the essence. Part three, embarks from text, teacher, student and environment, discusses how to improve reading teaching by using curriculum resources, and proposes the strategy of the development and utilization of curriculum resources. In the development and utilization of text resources, proposes three kinds of strategies: transforms text idea, recognizes text status, develops text significance; in the development and utilization of teacher resources, elaborates that teacher should renew idea and promote in three ways; in the development and utilization of student resources, proposes strategies to develop hidden student resources and apparent student resources; in the development and utilization of environment resources, suggests to organize reading teaching with some subjects, expand the reading teaching place and use network resources.
