The rapid development of science and technology brings abundant of property of the society, accelerates the huge change democracy and equality of our society, and improves people's living and productive standard greatly. Hence, science is regarded to be the priority, which occupies the most important position in the universal. In addition it took place of the humanism, which used to dominate the higher education. Meanwhile, science and technology also causes maximum waste of resource, demolishing of environment, stronger desire which is not easy to be satisfied. The goal of higher education and the cultivation of talented persons have aroused great attention universally. With the coming of the knowledge economy, higher education is encountering serious challenges. The modern time requires the transforming of the education module from knowledge delivering into knowledge exploring. Comprehensive quality has becoming the focus of modern cultivation. People with substantial and ample speciality knowledge can not meet the need. Instead, people with far-ranging of theory, splendid characteristic and good psychological function are becoming more and more popular. As a result, humanism education catches everyone's eyes again. The "human oriented" ideology has been recognized in various fields.Looking at the development of higher education in China, it is easy to see the separation of science and humanism education in China's institutions of higher learning, especially the science and engineering institutions. Plenty of problems existed, such as speciality overweighing humanities, serious utilitarian thinking. How to improve humanism education in our science and engineering institutions has become one magnitude aspect of the reforming of our higher education. Although some methods had been taken, the researches are still somewhat vague and bare. People, as the foremost factor, might or have been ignored. Starting with the explanation of humanism, this dissertation illustrates the importance and necessary of humanism education in science and engineering institutions and sum up some practical experience of well-developed countries. From the three elements of education, managers, teachers and students, it finds out problems and analyses the causes. Finally it tries to construct a new triangle module in the environment of campus to enhance the humanism education in our science and engineering institutions and further enrich the reform of our higher education.
