The traditional class culture is an arbitrary one which is presented by teacher's privileged speaking right. Under this circumstances, students can only "listen to" the lessons. As a result, the students only believe in what the book said without much thinking. What the book said becomes what the students know about, without any new idea or personal view. Before long, the students will be lack of thinking and creativity. This paper is focused on the construction of a conversational class which will be quite different from the arbitrary one.This paper includes three parts:Part one: the definition of conversational type class culture. Firstly, illustrate "conversation" through several famous theorists' ideas. Then, define class culture and conversational type class culture.Part two: the features of conversational type class culture. The four features of conversational type class culture :abacking to our living world as an objective; an equal and democratic relationship between teacher and students; an interactive and communicative atmosphere; created text.Part three: the suggested methods of building conversational type class culture. Firstly, analysis the factors affecting conversational type class culture. Then, build a conversational class from the following six aspects: teaching objective, teaching contents, relationship between teacher and students, way of learning, class atmosphere, teaching assessment.
