With the coming of globalization and China's successful entry into WTO, the process to the internationalization and modernization accelerate further, the bilingual inter-disciplinary talent proficient in specialty and English is favored by the market day after day. Bilingual education is adaptable to the demands of the age, and becomes beautiful scenery in colleges and universities of higher learning education reform rapidly.Bilingual education has just started in our country, so various kinds of theories and practice are still at the stage of probing. The theories and modes formed through long-term practice in the foreign countries are worth learning. But for the aim and nature of bilingual education in our country are different from foreign countries, we can't copy the successful experience totally, what we can do is to look for a feasible way fitting for our reality. In this paper, we choose some P.E major at the colleges and universities of higher learning in Henan province in which bilingual education experiments are being conducted as the objects of investigation, and try to investigate the actuality, find out the existing problems, and propose some suggestions for the development of bilingual education by using some research methods, such as documents method, literature review, questionnaire, interview and observation method ,logical method ,statistics method that follows.1.Giving a question for study: This part mainly introduces the background of the bilingual education in our country, the purpose, significance, methods of the study.2. Summarizing documents: This part introduces the theory of bilingual education, the concepts relevant to bilingual education at home and abroad, the main models of bilingual education and the achievements of P.E bilingual teaching.3. Results and Analysis: This part is the most important content,it accounts dentally the results and the analysis of investigation about bilingual education of P.E major for undergraduate course of universities in Henan Province. The investigation includes teachers, curriculum, teaching material, teaching process, teaching effects, visiting leaders and the existing difficulties by means of questionnaire, interview,observation and etc. Through the investigation, we find there exist some problems, such as lack of bilingual teachers, teaching materials, scientific teaching management and so on. Then raise some relevant countermeasures: renew the idea of bilingual teaching; to strengthen the construction of the teachers'team; to develop the teaching materials; to improve the teaching process; to perfect the mechanism of the teaching evaluation; to strengthen the scientific administration of bilingual teaching.4. Conclusions: According to questions found out in investigations, the writer have made some relevant conclusions.
