The Study On The Current Situation Of Bilingual Education Of P.E Major In Colleges And Universities Of Higher Learning Of Henan Province

In recent years, young students' physiological functions and the indicators of physical quality continue to decline, whereas the rate of myopia and obesity increase year by year, which has drawn great attention to national leaders and the whole society.Under such a condition, in order to carry out physical education of the school well, enhance physical fitness of students and fulfill the mission of "enhancing physical fitness of young people" in a superior way, various functional departments have successively adopted a series of reform measures. National school sport conference was held to deal with the arrangement of school sports in December, 2006. "Sunshine sports for millions of national young students" was launched on April 29, 2007. On May 31, 2007, the Ministry of Education claimed that School Group Dance should be popularized in all the elementary and middle schools in our country to provide sports and art education of high quality for the young students and to promote them to grow healthily from September 1,2007.Yang Guiren, the director of Sports Hygiene and art education of the Ministry of Education, introduced that based on the full investigation and scientific experiment, School Group Dance was produced considering the physiological and psychological development principles of students in different ages.Conducting the activity of School Group Dance helps students to dulcify mind and body, to cultivate good esthetic sentiment, to improve the appearance and function of students' body, to enhance physical quality, to develop collectivism spirit, to learn through playing in order to make the classroom more vivid. In fact, the study on health and physical function of young students in basic education is only in the exploratory stage, especially the study, the holding and the development of School Group Dance, the tentative curricular reforms which advance with the time and have a time flavor.The objects of the program are teenagers in our country. Strictly speaking, they are students in elementary and secondary schools. And the provincial demonstrative senior high school is the leader of the elementary education and has a broad representation. Henan province, with a long history, a vast field and a large population, was located in Centre of China and has owned 185 provincial model senior schools by the February of 2007.Through methods of investigation, document, mathematical statistics, logic and other scientific research methods, the paper sorts out and generalizes all studies on School Group Dance; reviews its production and development; looks for is origin; introduces its definition and domestic and foreign scholars' study on its development; analyzes its background, its current situation its influencing and controlling factors and some measures. This paper makes a thorough investigation into teachers' quality and ideas, the degree of students' acceptance, sports time, sports space, sports facilities and equipment and some other basic aspects, and also finds out six main influencing factors on its study, holding and development.Survey results show that: (1) outdated teaching concept; (2) lack of qualified dance teachers; (3) limited time for lessons; (4) distinct degrees of students' acceptance; (5) the necessary enhancement of supports from leaders, students, parents and society; (6) lack of sports space, facilities and equipments. And the paper puts forwards five corresponding methods: (1) to break traditional views, to enhance attention and to treat it seriously (2) to strengthen the construction of the faculty team (3) step up efforts to reform teaching materials (4) to carry out this activity gradually (5) improve teaching arena, facilities and equipment.The aims of this paper are to make a contribution for sports workers to study, hold and develop School Group Dance when they concerns about, reckon and study school group dance, and to provide reference basis in order to develop after-class group to local conditions, enhance the health status of students, improve students' body quality, bring happy and fresh feeling, to cultivate good esthetic sentiment and collective spirits, and to promote the successful holding of " Sunshine Sports".
