Orientations on curriculum are general attitudes towards curriculums. The different attitudes can effect the choice and judgment of teachers for the goals of curriculum, the contents of curriculum, the teaching methods, and the teaching evaluations, and determine the orientation of the teaching behaviors. By means of literature and investigation method, the study surveyed the characteristics of orientations on curriculum of biology teachers in the middle schools of Guiyang and compared the differences of orientations on curriculum of biology teachers in different kinds of schools and grades, sex, teaching years, diploma, and different training times of new curriculum. The results showed: the teachers' identities of five orientations on curriculum are high, furthermore, the identity of cognitive processes is the highest ones. The identity of orientations on curriculum of cognitive processes: teachers who have taught more years are significantly higher than the less ones; who hold higher diplomas are significantly higher than the lower ones; and who attended the training of the new curriculum are higher evidently than those who have no this experience; senior teachers are higher evidently than junior teachers. The identity of orientations on technological curriculum: male teachers are clearly higher than the female; teachers in the key middle schools are markedly higher than those in the general middle schools. Teachers who attended the training of new curriculum three times are markedly higher than those who have no this experience. The identity of orientations on humanistic curriculum: teachers who hold higher diploma are higher observably than those who hold the lower ones; junior teachers are higher evidently than senior ones; teachers who have attended the training of new curriculum are markedly higher than those who have no this experience; teachers who have taught for 16 to 20 years are the highest ones. The identity of orientations on social reconstruction curriculum: teachers who have attended the training of new curriculum once or twice are the highest. The identity of orientations on academic rationalism curriculum: teachers who hold the lower diplomas are higher than those who hold the higher; teachers who have never attended the training of new curriculum are higher than the ones who have. The results can offer a point of view to know curriculum for biology teachers in the middle schools of Guiyang. Teachers can treat these results as a mirror or a tool to understand and analyze the curriculums that they are teaching. And the results can play a revelatory role in biology curriculum reform in the middle school and even in educational reform in the future.
