The curriculum value orientation is reflected in the selection and judgment of the teachers of the course objectives, course content, teaching methods, teaching evaluation, it also determine the teachers’specific curriculum and instruction implementation. China’s previous curriculum reform to some extent, affected and even changed the teachers’ awareness of and perception of the course, course value orientation. Eighth curriculum reform since the implementation of the existing form of teachers holding curriculum value orientations how, what kind of gap between with the advocat ed core value, is worth thinking about it.Given the limitations of the various subjective and objective conditions, this article is mainly selected area high school chemistry teacher in Chongqing Municipality as the object of study, By means of questionnaires and interviews, the study surveyed the characteristics of orientation on curriculum of chemical teachers in the senior high schools of ChongQing and compared the differences of orientations on curriculum of chemical teachers in different kinds of sex, age,teaching years, diploma, and held various positions,at the same time, Ⅰ also try to explain the phenomenon. This study shows that:high school chemistry teacher in Chongqing Municipality higher degree of recognition of the value orientation of six kinds of courses, furthermore, the identity of ecological integration orientation and the cognitive processes orientation is the highest one,the identity of the academic rationalism orientation and social reconstruction orientation is lowest. The identity of orientation on curriculum of academic rationalism: low seniority of the teachers were significantly higher than seniority of teachers; The identity of orientation on curriculum of the cognitive process:the leader was significantly higher than the principal or director; The identity of orientation on curriculum of social reconstruction orientation:Male teachers were significantly higher than female teachers, low seniority was significantly higher than the teaching of teachers, administrative positions was significantly higher than the post of teachers; The identity of orientation on curriculum of humanist orientation:the older teachers were significantly lower than the younger teachers; The identity of orientation on curriculum of technological development:male teachers significantly with higher than female teachers; older teachers were significantly lower than the young age of the teachers, The identity of orientation on curriculum of ecological integration teaching high teachers significantly with lower than seniority low of teachers, who hold higher diplomas are significantly higher than the lower ones.The results clearly show the characteristics of Curriculum Value Orientations about Chemical Teachers in Senior High School of ChongQing, Which to some extent, can help r teachers to improve the learning about curriculum, and clarify the value of the course orientation, more important, it good for teachers to Recognize the gap between own course value orientation with the the core value orientation,only in this way, teachers will be able to take some effective measures to improve and upgrade the condition furthermore it also can avoid confused condition appears in the actual teaching, and make up their own the shortcomings and deficiencies consciously, in addition, the study results is also be treated as important tool to undertstand and analyze the curriculums that they are teaching, generally speaking, the results can play a revelatory role in. chemistry curriculum reform in the middle school and even in educational.
