The issues of population, resources, environment have become prominent increasingly today , and the mankind is working hard to explore a sustainable development road which is coordinational among the demographic, economic, social, environment and resource。All these bring a challenged new topic to the geography and the reform of geography education。However, in most part of China, geography education has not to be given the proper attention, there is still a blank in the village—geography,especially in those Ethnic minority areas where the economy is relatively backward。Therefore, there is an important practical significance to strengthen the school geography education and the research to the national civil geographical and cultural education in ethnic minority areas。In this paper, the school geography education and folk geography education are chosed mainly to be studied with the investigation to Anlong County Geographic Education as the starting point and combined with the basic concept of geography curriculum reform today。First,the geography teacher quality and quantity,the teaching equipment,the folk geography education of Anlong County are investigated and statisticed actually to analysis the major issues of the geography education。Then the corresponding solutions are given out。At last,the national characteristics geographical education pattern is further studied。Finally, the article on the ethnic characteristics of geography education model for the in-depth exploration. Enron proposed to the county school geography education and cultural geography of local folk combine the use of folk geographical and cultural knowledge, increase school geography education fun for students living in the formation of the national civil protection of geographical awareness of the cultural heritage of the economy Conditions allow, under the premise of strengthening national cultural infrastructure construction, building national culture museum, thereby gradually explored an education suitable for the development of local geography education model for other geographical education development in ethnic minority areas to provide a reference and reference.There're 4 parts in the whole article. The 1st one is mainly include the actuality of Anlong County's geography education, the study status of the world, the study object, the study idea and the methods. The 2nd part analyzes the actuality. It indicates that the main issue is the lack of teacher, the laggard of facility and concept, the shortage of education devotion. The 3rd one analyzes the civil culture geography education of Anlong county. It indicates that the main issues is the vanish and lose of civil dressing, civil culture, civil singing and dancing, civil living and civil history. The finally one is about the way to development the geography education in Anlong county: increasing the education devotion, enlarging the scope of the school, recruiting the strength of the teaching, encouraging the person with ability to come back, reforming the teaching in the class, enforcing the experiment of teaching, putting the geography knowledge of civil culture into the geography textbooks, Anlong County Middle School geography education and cultural geography of local folk together.
