Comparative Study On Sino-US College Basketball Culture

To promote China's college basketball and raise the level of future sustained and healthy development, and to achieve the level jump from the sport dimension to the cultural dimension, this article provides references to further promote the college campus culture. This article argues:1. "Collectivism" is the core of Chinese culture; "individualism" is the core of American culture. The two cultural systems, both with strength and weakness, are originated from the two cultural cores, and although their performances are very different but they are highly complementary.2. Different college basketball cultural identities in the two countries have a profound impact on their college campus cultures.
