With the continual expansion of the opening policy and the deepening of the socialist market economy, school moral education in our country, especially college students' ideological and political education, appears to be increasingly and functionally insufficient. Therefore, it is extremely urgent and important to reinforce and improve college students' ideological and political education. To adapt to the new situations and new tasks and on the basis of the study of many scholars', this paper makes a comparison between the Sino-US universities' moral education practice. During the process of comparison, this paper also attempts to make a comparison of the two countries' moral education evaluation besides the comparison of the objectives, content and approaches. After adequate comparison and analysis, the writer tries to draw lessons from the U.S. universities' moral education in order to strengthen and improve our country's college students' ideological and political work, thus enhancing the efficacy of our country's moral education.
