In the new era, with the rapid development of China’s market economy, theimpact of western social thought constantly, traditional moral concept is under greatchallenge, in the face of the globalization of the world economy big environment, thetraditional method of moral education has been far from satisfying the needs of thedevelopment of the modern society. As the two largest in the world, China and theUnited States colleges and universities because of the different cultural traditions anddifferent social system, resulting in many different performance of the two countriesso, moral education, how to do the moral education work at the present stage, is ourbiggest problem. To strengthen the moral education in Colleges and universities, isconducive to the construction of socialist harmonious society in China, is conduciveto promoting China’s socialist spiritual civilization and material construction, realizethe overall development of College students.In this paper, two universities moral education between China and America asthe research object, first of all, starting from both the historical background, reviewsthe historical and cultural factors cause the status of moral education of the twocountries, based on the analysis of the characteristics of moral education in Collegesof China and the United States, so as to reveal the moral education between Chinaand the United States both the similarities and differences between China and theUnited States, as the theoretical basis, the two countries with different politicalorientation, different moral principles, although there are similarities between moraleducation between China and America, but there can never be the same. Secondly,the path and the similarities and differences between the two countries we realize themoral education between China and America made a comparison between China andthe United States, points out the path to realize the moral education includesclassroom teaching, social practice, campus culture construction and professional team, in the final analysis, obtained the enlightenment, we should give full play tothe construction of moral education in Colleges and universities to Ancient ChineseLiterature Search, pay attention to the construction of teachers, to avoid in theteaching activities of the target positioning vague, practice mode is single, only toappear the problem such as the form, put forward the construction of SubjectivityMoral Education, culture, respect for the individuality of the students study history,play traditional moral culture strength, in order to make up the deficiencies in themoral education of our country, the path to improve the moral education in Collegesand universities to achieve, to promote the development of moral education in china.
