Solid geometry is one of the difficulties in senior high school maths. It has an unique function for students'ability of solid imagination , logical reasoning, and the sense of solid geometry. So the compiling of the solid geometry should adapt to the students'perception and the ability and try to form the ability of the solid imagination , logical reasoning, of reasoning demonstrating and direct geometry.In the new Senoir Reforming, solid geometry is an important part in senior maths. The new textbook changed a lot. What effect does it have on the solid geometry learning? What is the advantage and disadvantage? The study on these problems influences the maths reforming in teaching significantly. During the alternating time between the new and the old textbooks, it is instructive to study the new textbook and compare the differences between the new and the old textbooks. Reseaching methods, such as documentary ,comparison, statistice, investigation, talking to the teachers, are used to study the solid geometry part in the New Textbook (A) compulsory 2. By comparison, the two books have a lot of difference in teaching aims, the contents of the course ,the structure and the difficulty etc. The new textbook presents plenty of examples to lead students to understand the inner meaning in conception, axiom, and an established theory. It is helpful to develop the students'thinking. Practicability is paid more attention and the students'ability is required more. The center has changed from Course Center to Students'Center. Besides, some revelations are got from the investigation and talk to the others. The new textbook shows us a completely new theory in teaching and requires us to value the students'ability forming as well as teaching the knowledge, to value the appliance in maths as well as the study of basic methods, to value the coorperation as well as the individuality .Some suggestions are put forward on the base of the study. It is hoped to be helpful to the maths teaching reformance, the textbook adaption, and to the daily maths teaching.
