Over a long period of time, people have had a tendency in believing that mathematics education consists in spreading math knowledge. Under influence of such notion, mathematics education in kindergarten is restricted to teaching of the subject, recitation and exercise, which makes math learning far away from life, meaningless and lacking in interest. In order to solve this problem and nurture children's desire for learning math and apply math skill to life, the writer employs the notion "math culture", emphasizing that only a deep understanding into "mathematics education in kindergarten" can help develop effective strategy for this specific purpose.The first chapter "Problem arising", reflecting on "focusing intelligence education", "stressing input" and many other defects in math education in kindergarten at present, proposes the math education in kindergarten is need of urgent transformation; at the same time the researches have found out that math education is internally connected with math culture; finally, the chapter introduces the research methods such as "reference analysis", "participation observation" and so on.The second chapter "The connotation and characteristics of math culture" points out that "mathematics is a kind of culture", possessing "adaptation", "thought", "stability and continuity", "aesthetic appreciation", "penetration" and "creativity", etc..The third chapter "math education strategy in kindergarten from an angle of math culture", briefly analyzes the strategies "setting educational goals", "selecting educational material", "deciding on educational approaches" and "undertaking educational evaluation" from the perspective of math culture.
