Emotion is one of the most important elements to influence English teaching quality in Secondary Schools. It also penetrates in teaching process. In order to overcome a unitary mode to teach knowledge and apply emotions to elaborate the teaching function.The thesis is to utilize theory research method, positivism method and combine some teaching experience of my own to research the following issues. The first ,whether emotion influence the students to study English well or not and analyze the connotation and feature about emotion teaching. The second ,current situation and questions of emotion teaching. The third, about English emotion teaching aim and strategies.The thesis includes six chapters.The first is introduction.The second is literature.The third is three kinds of research methodologies.The fourth is to apply theory research method to discuss its essence and value.The fifth is to analyze its current situation.The last is based on the theory research and positivism research and combine personal teaching practice to put forward its basic strategies.By the research ,the author is tempts to establish several basic minds.The first is to attach importance to develop emotion educational function.The second is to deal well with the relationships between teaching knowledge and developing emotion.The third ,there are many emotion elements in English teaching that accompany with teaching knowledge.The fourth ,it is multifarious teaching strategies those have roled on value of emotion eduction.
