Evaluation is an important step in teaching process, so if there are some problems in the step, it will lead low efficiency of teaching and learning, and quality of teaching and learning can not be ensured. There are some problems in current web-based learning, such as single evaluation subject, neglect the analysis of learner's characteristic, showing preference for the result of learning, lacking of timely feedback of evaluation information, and so on.The application of Developmental Assessment Theory is important in the reformation of Chinese education assessment. Developmental Assessment Theory regarded as the theoretical foundation of web-based learning evaluation will necessarily cause great changes. Web-based learning evaluation based on Developmental Assessment Theory will absorb excellent evaluation theory, in virtual of advanced computer and network technology, integrate procedural evaluation and multi-evaluation, emphasize more evaluation subject, multiplicities of evaluation criterion and mode, evaluate the learner's ability, promote comprehensive development. So, the design of web-based learning evaluation system based on Developmental Assessment Theory and correlative platform is the foundation supporting web-based learning evaluation, which is urgently needed for web-based learning system.The thesis tries to research and design the developmental evaluation system of web-based learning, the evaluation system can be designed as web-examination module, on-line discussion module, my portfolio module, gardener's world module. And, I try to develop my portfolio module and gardener's world module, basically can carry out following functions: students can establish learning contract look over evaluation rubric, upload electronic productions, look over companion's evaluations and teacher's evaluations, browse companion's portfolio and compose learning logs, teachers can carry out and mend teaching goals, production rubrics as well as learning rubrics and browse students' portfolios.Papers can be divided into six parts:Part I: Prolegomenon, Mainly introduce the advanced questions, significance, actuality and project of the research; Part II: Summaries of developmental assessment and web-based learning evaluation, introducing developmental assessment theory, web-based learning assessment and advantages of web-based learning assessment based on developmental assessment;Part III: Strategies in developmental assessment of web-based learning, including requires, contents, tools, forming and feedback of evaluation results;Part IV: Design of developmental assessment system in web-based learning, including application-analyzing, the whole plan, function-analyzing and design of every modules;Part V: Realization details of part functions in the system, introducing the main technology basis and realization details of part functions, such as my portfolio module, gardener's world module;Part VI: Conclusion and Outlook,;...
