Pre-school bilingual teaching method is becoming a focus on the research and reformation of our country' s education and this method will be practised or has been carried out in a large number of districts or kindergartens. With the chinds position in the world promoted rapidly ,it' s necessary for those who want to hunt for a good job to have a good knowledge of a foreign language in order to meed the demands of reformation opening to the world and stimulating development .At present ,the Information Age needs this kind of teaching method with more and more people communicating with each other in foreign language even in the field of politics,economy and culture .Because there is no complete theory system about the bilingual teaching method in China.Attempts are only being made by many a kindergarten .As we all know ,in some aspect ,this method is not ripe and the teaching situation is lacking in China ,the second language teaching to the pre-school children will be faced with a great challenge .As a consequence ,the writer has made a decision to do research on the topic of this teaching method .Researching aims at analysing the present situation of teaching and summing up some problems in process of teaching so that we can discuss them and then set up a complete theory system and a practical model which fit our country ,we will contribute ourselves to this research.Firstly, "Questionnary Inquire " "Individual Research"and so on are used in the thesis ;the present situation of pre-school bilingual teaching is analysied ;some problems existing in teaching is pionted out ;some basic concepts are accounted for ,for example,bilingual,bilingual phenomenon,bilingual education,bilingual teaching and foreign language teaching apart from explaining the special meaning of pre-school bilingual teaching .Secondly ,it accounts for the second language teaching research from its theory to the children' s physical feature,psychological feature,gift to deal with language and the effects on their psychological development.Finally,it talks about the operation in detail including the the teaching aim,teaching principle and the writer' s experice in teaching. We must realize correctly the bilingual teaching is of great importance in the second language teaching and handle the relationship between the second language and mother tongue.After doing that,our bilingual teaching will continue along the healthy and scientific way.
