With the development of teaching reform in college, Research-Oriented Study has been one of the most heated subjects for years inviting instructors' and education administrators' close attention. It aims to alter students' learning approaches by focusing upon exploring on students' initiative and practical creation, which reflects and satisfies the requirements for education by the times. Whereas, in the practice of teaching, different target students, different teaching contents and teaching aims make the question how to prompt students' development with pertinence by applying the approach of Research-Oriented Study a subject worthy of intensive and extensive research. Based on the guidance of basic theories in the domain of Research-Oriented Study and sufficient analysis on the subject of Computer-Based Education, the paper puts forth three models of applying Research-Oriented Study in practical teaching and conducts considerable beneficial exploration in both theory and practice fields of Research-Oriented Study in the practice of college teaching.The paper contains 6 sections:Section 1: IntroductionAnalysis of the background, significance and current situation of the research; the necessity and feasibility; contents and methods.Section 2: Connotation and theoretical baseAnalysis of connotation, development and theoretical base of Research-Oriented Study.Section 3: Analysis of the subject of Computer-Based EducationAnalysis of the teaching aims, teaching content and teaching plan of computer-based education.Section 4: Model designing of the subject of Computer-Based EducationThree models of research-oriented study in Computer-Based Education.Section 5: Cases of research-oriented study in Computer-Based Education teachingPracticing of the three models in Computer-Based Education teaching and reflections and conclusions of each model. Section 6: Analysis of the founding and prospects for further researchAnalysis and conclusion of the practice based on post-test; prospects for further research.
