Textbook, which is one of the carriers of curriculum text and the most important culture text in students' school education, has a great effect on the development of students' body and mind. Considering the research method of feminism education as the instruction and the Chinese textbook of junior high school from Hu Bei Education Press as the study object, the author made statistics, analysis and discussion about gender problem in Chinese textbook of junior high school in order to show the gender prejudice to the female in the textbooks. The thesis firstly expounds the definition, historical development, viewpoints of various schools of feminism as well as the educational theory of feminism. The views of equality of education, knowledge and curriculum, which the educational theory of feminism contending are the theoretical principle and the instruction in the study. Then, the author made a gender research of the Chinese textbook which from Hu Bei Educational Press of junior high school. It is found that there is the gender prejudice in textbooks in different degree. Next, it is also found that the teachers have no attention to the gender prejudice, but some of the students think that there is the gender prejudice exists in the textbooks. Finally, the paper proposes some counter measure so as to clear up the gender prejudice in Chinese textbook.
