With the rapid development of computer network and multimedia, web plays an important role in every field of society. Being a new medium for publicizing information, the Internet is becoming a new method for teachers and students of college and university to obtain knowledge and information. Besides, the Internet is producing a widespread and profound impact on teachers and students' studies, lives, research and even ideological ideas. Based on the network background, the new trends of many new changes, new occasions, and new characteristics have occurred in universities' moral education.Network culture brings chances of development and probably results in much negative influence and even some serious challenge to universities' moral education. Facing the chances and challenges, colleges and universities are responsible for e(?)ancing quality education, educating students to achieve objectives, and promoting socialist material civilization, political civilization and spiritual civilization construction. Based on the Internet culture and its impact on the thoughts of university students and a series of issues people that are concerned about, such as a relatively clear exposition of the opportunities and challenges to moral education network, this paper deeply emphasizes the characteristics of the moral education at colleges and universities, setting forth a chain of ways and means to cope with the problems which range from moral ideas to moral contents and to moral methods. With all these methods, strengthening the moral education at colleges and universities can be resolved, and the targets of advancing with the times and constantly reforming the moral education can be successful. This paper has a very important practical significance to colleges and universities' moral education at network age.
