Nowadays, the Internet has deeply affected college students'academic, financial and emotional life, which supplies college students with an important and indispensible platform for communicating, connecting, acquiring knowledge as well as entertaining. Surfing on the internet is common and normal; however, with the rapid development of the Internet, it has been getting ubiquitous that fraud, hoax, raping, murdering and the deluge of pornography are flooding over the Internet. It is said that college students are the national hope and future, and as intellectuals, they are bound to be qualified in the morality and self-discipline, which is never the truth. Most of the time, the underlying harming factors are challenging their previous moral experience and value system of college students. Therefore, the research on the moral and disciplinary education is quite necessary and of great importance to the development of college students.The thesis consists of preface, body and epilogue.In the preface, the author explains the research condition of the college students'moral and self-disciplinary education, and the meaning of the research under the circumstance of the internet. A literature review of the related researches is also included in this part.The body consists of four parts:Part one defines three conceptions about college students'moral and disciplinary education: moral discipline, moral and disciplinary education and moral and disciplinary education on college students. Moral discipline, as is commonly known, is defined as an action that the moral subjects, with the knowledge of natural and social rules and the practical living conditions, voluntarily observe the social mores and practice the moral norms according to the specific condition, so that passive subordination is transformed into positive self-discipline, and external moral requirement is changed into intra-personal voluntary action. Compared with the heteronomy, the moral self-discipline is definitely more stable and long-lasting; on the other hand, any external social heteronomy forms won't work unless it is eventually internalization into the subjects'positive action through the individual's self-discipline.Moral self-disciplinary education is an activity that fostering a series of individual restraining, self-supervising, self-determining, self-criticizing, self-adjusting and self-encouraging. It aims at the transformation for heteronomy to self-discipline on the basis of advocating social norms and value system so that people do what they ought to do, making the personal knowledge and external action controllable. In a sense, self-disciplinary education is the guarantee and foundation of all kinds of education. Given the self-disciplinary education, the individual will act positively on ideology education, moral education and philosophy.The college students'self-disciplinary moral education focuses on the self-disciplinary education of college students, which developing a sort of qualification that college students need in self-restraining, self-supervising, self-determining, self-adjusting and self-encouraging. Therefore, it plays an essential part in ideology education, moral education and philosophy education in universities. To educate college students in the moral and self-disciplinary aspects, we need to enlighten students'consciousness of moral discipline, developing their ability of telling virtue from vice, conducting them to adjust themselves with emotion. That is to say, we have to strengthen their awareness of self-discipline. Besides, to develop a better self-education, assisting college students supervising themselves and adjusting themselves are quite necessary. In comparison with other communities'moral self-disciplinary education, the college students'moral self-disciplinary education has its own characteristics.Part two expatiates the meaningfulness of college students'moral self-disciplinary education under cyber-circumstances, and point out that to self-educate college students will not only benefit the full development of university students, but also bear a long-range sense for the realization of high education goal and constructing the harmonious society. Part three illustrates the deficiencies of college students'moral self-discipline under the cyber-circumstance, which can attribute to the lacking of self-discipline, low level of self-control, inferior self-disciplinary qualification. After that we make a analysis of five aspects consisting of cyber, personal, familial, scholastic and social causes.Part four countermeasures against the problems in the college students'self-disciplinary education, that is, to develop the moral self-disciplinary awareness, strengthen moral self-education through basic moral education. What's more, we also need to fortify the humanism education, enhance the quality of college students'moral self-discipline, and popularize the cyber moral education.The epilogue summarizes the whole thesis.
