The Curriculum Criteria of Common High School points out that through teaching, students can plan, reflect, evaluate and adjust the process of chemistry learning, and accordingly improve the ability of autonomy learning in chemistry class. How to promote learning ability, cultivate creativity and practice capability among students has already become the focus of education around the world. Cultivation of students'reflective learning ability is just the most effective way to achieve this goal. This paper strives to do a tentative study on fostering creative consciousness and ability in chemistry class teaching by the cultivation of students'reflective learning ability. For the purpose of guiding students to do reflective chemistry learning effectively, this paper works out Questionnaires on Chemistry Reflective Learning among High School Students with reference to related documents at home and abroad and integration of the features in chemistry teaching. The subjects of questionnaire involve 474 ten-grade students in high school in Shijiazhuang city and its nearby towns in Hebei province. It summarizes and analyzes the general situation of students'reflective learning in chemistry as well as students'interests attitudes, attention, self-guide, self-help and some other respects. Meanwhile, it compares reflective learning among different types of schools, schools in different districts, students gender, and the students with different achievements. The conclusions can be drawn as follows: (1) non-intelligence factors have some influence on students'reflective learning, which can not be ignored in chemistry teaching. (2) Freshmen in ten-grade need guide on chemistry learning methods. (3) When cultivating students'reflective learning, individuality differences among students of different achievements and gender should not be neglected and different strategies should be adopted.Based on the analysis of the survey results, this paper conducts teaching experiments and proposes the strategies of cultivating students'reflective learning ability in chemistry: (1) In class teaching, students should be guided to do reflective learning. (2) Reflective learning should be deepened through learning process. (3) Students can practice reflective learning by writing reflection diaries. (4) Communications on ideas and emotions between teacher and students can reinforce reflective learning. (5) Help students conduct self-guide to achieve autonomy reflection. (6) Different methods should be adopted for students with different learning level and ability and more attentions should be paid to the students with inferior learning ability. Though one and a half years of teaching experiment, such strategies have been proved to be beneficial to help students improve learning efficiency.
