The social norm is the social phenomenon which exists in any society. Being the support condition of collective life order, the social norm is occupying the important status in the corresponding social system. The social norm has an effect on individuals, society and the country. At present days, the social norm is under the unprecedented impact. The moral standards of vocational students have declined. There are more words, deeds and criminality against social norm. Every country has faced these problems. In the social transition period, China also has"the standard flaw"problem which exists in the developed countries. This problem caused behavior of partial social members"to deviate from the norm", the pursuit of life value last, and more behavior below standard appeared. There is another prominent phenomenon that level of vocational students'behavior is low; concept of legal system, the morals and discipline are also weak; illegal crime rate of school students tends upwards. Words and deeds against the social norm in the daily life can be found everywhere.The most important task of vocational education is to train high quality worker. To strengthen and train students'consciousness and habit observing social norm is related to the national future and destiny. It is also the important precondition of vocational school's continuable development. Guiding and helping vocational students'growth healthily is related to an important problem of our education development. In recent years, our country spends a lot of time and money in developing the vocational education. In our senior high school's education, vocational education is one of two styles. And there are more than 18,000,000 students studying in vocational middle school which is 46% of all senior high school students. And the number of Chinese vocational middle school comes to nearly 15,000. On the one hand, the huge numeral has indicated our country's support and value to the vocational education. On the other hand, facing the new situation and the new change brought by the reform and open policy and the market economy development, how to carry on the thought character guidance to the students whose world view, philosophy of life and value are forming initially and how to prevent and deal with the phenomenon of vocational students'social norm deviation are becoming a urgent problem awaiting to be solved by the current vocational school.As a teacher working in vocational school, I take"Research of Vocational School Students'Social Norm Deviation"as my paper topic according to historical background developing vocational education and problems existing in vocational schools. I'm trying to seek the regular thing to explain the reason and countermeasure of vocational students'social norm deviation.The methods of observation, investigation, case analysis and theory combining with practice were used in this paper, and make systemic, thorough and comprehensive research and discussion from multi-dimension and multilayer on the present situation, reason and countermeasure of vocational students'social norm deviation.Three parts included in this paper:The definition of social norm deviation, domestic and foreign research results and significance of social norm deviation research were discussed mainly in the first part. Social norm refers to the social behavior standard and the rule rose by certain social organization and observed by certain social members based on certain social production style and life style. Social norm deviation is a common social phenomenon. Some problems such as"the social aberration"and"vocational students'rebellions attitude question"and so on, have closely relationship with social norm deviation. The vocational students'social norm deviation will create a series of consequences to the society and the individual and bring widespread interest. Vocational students'social norm deviation develops from disregarding the social basic morals to offending the law; from disobeying discipline to disordering social order; from the deviation which caused by ignorance to witting resistance. Vocational students'social norm deviation discussed in this article mainly refers to the departure to social norm, that is to say, mild deviation.The second part mainly discusses the present situation and origin of vocational students'social norm deviation, which mainly showed lack of cultural knowledge; serious tiredness of study; confusing night and wrong; lack of legal consciousness; universal existence of bad habit; serious looking down upon oneself; strong self-centered consciousness; common selfish psychology; behavior deviation of heterosexual association; suspecting social education; common existence of distrust feeling; obvious gap in association between different generations; indulge themselves in network and so on. In a word, the reasons of vocational students'social norm deviation mainly come from the standard itself, the educational process and vocational students themselves.The countermeasures against preventing and controlling vocational students'social norm deviation were discussed mainly in the third part. First of all, we should insist on the necessity education of norm in order to urge vocational students to understand the norm comprehensively. The education for vocational students'adaptable ability to society should be strengthened and the social norm learning methods suitable for vocational students be explored. Secondly, holding the characteristic of vocational school education and lead vocational students'grow up by course reforming. Thirdly, campus environment with rich vocational school character and atmosphere suitable for vocational students'cultivation should be created. Fourthly, teaching process should be improved to satisfy students'interests. At last, social environment should be improved to purify the surroundings for vocational students'activities out of school.
